Opening of the photo exhibition „The Lesser Spotted Eagle and its protection in Lithuania“ at the visitors centre of Kurtuvėnai Regional Park

The opening of the photo exhibition „The Lesser Spotted Eagle and its protection in Lithuania“ will be held at 1 pm, 1 June 2012 at the visitors centre of Kurtuvėnai regional park (Parko 2, Kurtuvėnai, Šiauliai district). A presentation by Darius Stončius, senior biologist of the Public Establishment “Foundation for Development of Nature Protection Projects” on the most interesting facts and features of the Lesser Spotted Eagle biology, its links to Šiauliai district, threats to conservation of the species and activities of the project „Conservation of the Lesser Spotted Eagle (Aquila pomarina) in Lithuanian forests“ implemented by the organisation is on the programme of the event. Various tricks of nature photographers and what should be noticed in the photos of the exhibition will be explained as well.
The exhibition will run until 1 July 2012. It is open to the public Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm and Saturday, Sunday 11 am – 4 pm.
